Guide: Change Ember's Projector LED Current

#1

This guide will show you how to adjust your projector LED current. This is often required if you’ve been printing with a particular resin tray for a while, or if your projector has seen a lot of use. If you want to adjust other advanced printer settings, or if your printer is not paired with emberprinter.com, read this guide.

  1. Log into your account on emberprinter.com
  2. Navigate to the Printers page
  3. Click on Printer Settings in the row that corresponds to your printer
  4. In the popup window, click Show Advanced Settings to reveal the Projector LED Current field

255 is the maximum
0 is minimum (effectively turning the projector off)
-1 resets the projector to factory defaults (which could be anything but is usually somewhere around 180. Newer Embers have a sticker on the back that indicates the default LED current).

If you know your projector needs to be brighter but the LED current is set to -1, a good place to start is 190.

The process of accessing this field and modifying its value is shown below:

If your printer is not paired with emberprinter.com, you can still modify the Projector LED current via SSH.
