Error message 77-29 too hot

#1

Hi All,

I have not been able to print… I keep getting an “error message 77-29 too hot shut down” or sometimes “reset”. This happens about 10 min into the printing.

Any help will be appreciated.

Curtis

Weird… Here are a couple of things to check:

  • what firmware are you running?
  • if you look under your Ember, are the fans spinning?
  • have you increased your motor current at all?

Also please download your log files and send them to support@3dp.zendesk.com and I’ll take a look at them.

Hi! Thanks for your reply!

How do I know what firmware is running? Some one else set it up and I am no
tech person by any means…

I hear the fans spinning… and can feel a slight draft from the back.

Hold down the left button for 5 seconds to display the firmware version.

You’ll still need to check underneath to see if the chassis fans are spinning. The sound you’re hearing may just be the projector fan (which blows out the back).

To download the logs, follow this procedure.
